weekly review

A weekly review should be done to allow you to reflect on the work you’ve done over the last week.

It helps you to “Get Clear, Get Current, Get Creative” as David Allen puts it.

This concept was first introduced to me in the book {b} Getting Things Done

Here are some questions to ask during your weekly review:

  • What should I start doing?
  • What should I stop doing?
  • What should I continue doing?
  • What do I need to spend more time on next week?
  • What did I spend too much time on last week?
  • What obstacles will get in the way of my goals next week?

The weekly review helps to clarify your thinking.

It allows you to make decisions that can lead to meaningful progress.

By reflecting on and reviewing your systems often, you are more inclined to trust them.
